  1. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is a condition of entry. The entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions. By entering into the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right, as its sole discretion, to exclude you from the competition if you do not comply with these terms and conditions.
  2. To enter, entrants must be aged 18 years and over and be a resident in the UK. Employees of the Promoter or its associated companies cannot enter the competition.
  3. To enter the competition which runs from 9.00am on Friday 4th December 2015 to 23:00pm on Thursday 31st December 2015 entrants must submit their entries via Facebook. To enter, entrants must 1) like and share the post promoting the competition 2) Post a comment on the Promoters relevant Facebook post stating ‘Essential I want to win a spa day for 2’. Internet or Wi-Fi access is required 3) ‘Like’ or already ‘like’ the Promoters Facebook page located at https://www.facebook.com/essentialinsurance/
  4. No purchase is necessary.
  5. The Promoter has the right to refuse any competition entry from an individual if their twitter, Facebook profile, associated blog or entry contains material which is offensive (including the use of foul language) or defamatory, contains nudity or incites and/or promotes violence or hatred or which discriminates, threatens or infringes the rights of third parties, or which the Promoter deems in its sole discretion is otherwise unacceptable. Participants may not use the competition for the expressions of political or religious views.
  6. There will be one (1) prize winner. The winner will win a free Spa Selection Voucher that offers the recipient a hand-picked spa experience at their choice of venue from75 spas nationwide. Spa Selection vouchers are valid for a spa day or spa break at selected venues and allow the recipient to choose their ideal venue when they book. The Spa Selection voucher will enable the recipient to book a spa day for two people worth £109.95 through spabreaks.com.
  7. One entry per person. If more than one entry is received, only the first entry submitted will be accepted. Any entry made using false or dishonest information will be disqualified.
  8. The Promoter will not be liable for entries that are not received, delayed or which are corrupted for any reason.
  9. The Promoter’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize described above cannot be provided to the winner. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be given.
  11. On or around Friday 1st January 2016, the Promoter will select one (1) winner at random from all correctly completed entries submitted. The Promoter will notify the prize winner via Facebook and request the contact details from the winner and so the winner can be officially notified by telephone or email immediately following the prize draw. The winner will be announced via the Promoter’s facebook page. If the prize winner cannot be contacted, fails to confirm acceptance of their prize within 24 hours of being notified or cannot make use of their prize for any reason, that prize winner will forfeit their prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative prize winner.
  12. The Promoter will liaise with the winners regarding delivery of their prize. The Promoter will pay for delivery of the prize to the winner, although the Promoter will not be liable for the acts or omissions of any postal service or courier of for any failure of delivery.
  13. Details of the winner’s name and locations will be available between Monday 4th January and Friday 29th January 2016 20 by contacting the Promoter at the address detailed below.
  14. By entering the competition, you agree that if you are chosen as a prize winner you will allow the Promoter to use your name, photograph, video, voice recording and general location for publicity, news and promotional purposes in any and all media during this and any future promotions or advertising without charge.
  15. By entering into the competition, you acknowledge that any intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, copyright in text, film and sound recording) which arise in relation to your involvement with the competition and/or prizes shall vest absolutely with the Promoter and you hereby agree to immediately assign to the Promoter any such rights which become vested in you.
  16. The Promoter shall not be responsible or liable for any expenses incurred by the winner over and above the prizes offered above including but not limited to transportation, accommodation food and drinks. The prize winner participates in and uses the prize at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership and/or use of their prize.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to change, alter or withdraw the competition at any time.
  18. The Promoter will use the information which you provide or which we obtain from our dealings with you, to administer the competition.
  19. If any of these terms and conditions are found to be void or unenforceable, that term shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
  20. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
